On June 17, FH was pleased to host a special seminar by Toronto Metropolitan University International College (TMUIC). The session gave our students a deep look into the academic pathways, language programs, and career-focused opportunities offered by TMUIC — an official partner of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).

What is TMUIC?
Located in downtown Toronto, TMUIC offers international students a supported transition into Canadian university life through English language programs and first-year university-level study. Upon completion, students enter second year at TMU, saving time while building a strong academic foundation.
Why Choose TMUIC?
- Multiple intakes per year (September, January, May)
- Flexible entry for students with IELTS from 5.0 and up
- Pathways to top programs in Business, Engineering, Science, and Creative Industries
- Experiential learning focus – internships, co-ops, and zone learning
- Scholarships for academic performance and community leadership
- Part-time jobs available on campus (marketing assistant, student ambassador, etc.)

TMUIC students benefit from small class sizes, strong student support, and clear pathways to in-demand degrees. At TMU, over 95% of graduates secure jobs shortly after graduation—many through co-op placements.
We’re thankful for this informative session and look forward to helping more FH students explore TMUIC as a strong university pathway in Canada.
