Sajanth Mohan is a community leader, pastor, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in Christian ministry and faith-based leadership. He has served in pastoral ministry for two decades, led Christian charitable initiatives for over 15 years, and has a background of more than 10 years in the private education sector. Sajanth holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has dedicated his life to building strong communities through education, faith, and service.

Shamar Bennette

Vice Principal

Shamar Bennette is the founding Chaplain for Future Hope Academy.

He is the lead pastor of The Door Church for over eight years. He is passionate about teaching biblical truths, mentoring youth and young adults, and equipping believers with foundational truths. His love for students and their parents, integrity for what he does and contribution to FH community makes big impact to Future Hope Academy. 

Sophie Duan

Chief Operating Officer

Sophie Duan has humbly served FH Family as a mother figure and watchman, faithfully caring for its people, guarding its vales. and standing watch over it for over 8 years.

Moved and deeply touched by the FH Founder’s vision of developing students through Proactive Learning, Independent Thinking, and Experiencing Joyfulness, Sophie Duan wholeheartedly embraced this mission. For seven years, she devoted herself to cultivating the FH Family culture, serving students, families, and staff with humility and care. In God’s appointed time, she was called to take the next step—to establish Future Hope Academy Christian School.

Bringing with her the compassion and caring spirit shaped by her background as a medical doctor, together with extensive entrepreneurial and coaching experience, Sophie carries a deep and tangible compassion for the young generation. She is committed to cultivating an environment characterized by care, empowerment, joy, creativity, integrity, and leadership, building Godly young generation to impact comminuty and society.

Tim Keung

Vice President of Business  Development

Tim is a dynamic leader whose career spans psychology, real estate, entrepreneurship an business development.  With a background in organizational psychology from the London School of Economics, he worked with Fortune 500 companies globally before transitioning into real estate, where he now leads the TimSold Real Estate Team. As a Board Director for the Markham Board of Trade, Tim is committed to fostering business growth and education in the GTA region. His philanthropic efforts include supporting SickKids Hospital and local community and religious organizations. A dedicated family man, Tim balances his professional success with a passion for giving back.

Seba Yalcin

Office Manager

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and having studied Marketing in Canada, Seba brings both academic knowledge and firsthand international experience to her role. She supports prospective students and their families by providing clear guidance on FH’s programs and the admissions process. At the same time, she plays an active role in the school’s operations, overseeing administrative processes and ensuring a smooth experience for both staff and students. Her background in marketing, combined with her strong organizational skills, helps create a welcoming and efficient environment for everyone involved.

Lara Cerqueira

Guidance Counsellor

Holding a double major in English and Portuguese, Lara has eight years of experience teaching English as a second language. She is passionate about education, literature and language. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in classroom management, collaboration, and fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Administrative tasks have also been part of her professional path and play a huge role in her adept management of organizational operations and processes.

Ozgul Manay

Administritive Assistant

Ozgul Manay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and brings 19 years of experience in the field of education. With her background as an educator, she brings a strong understanding of students’ needs and the day-to-day dynamics of a school environment to her role as an Administrative Assistant. She combines her educational experience, organizational skills, and attention to detail to support students, staff, and families while helping ensure the school’s daily operations run smoothly.

David Vu

Being caring and detail-orientated and having 2 decades of educational marketing and recruitment experience, David is passionate about guiding and helping international students for their better career path and integration into Canadian society.

Richard Lloyd

Math and Science Teacher

Dr. Richard Lloyd received his Masters in Education from the University of Windsor and his Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He has achieved numerous other doctorates including a Doctor of Philosophy from the International Bible University, Oklahoma City, OK. He has been teaching for over 30 years in secondary school classrooms and online, with over 20 years experience in Christian schools, where he assisted with mission trips, mentoring, biblical expository teaching, weekly devotionals and tutoring. What he has valued most during much of his teaching tenure is that, as a believer, he could present his lessons within a foundation of biblical truth.

Sade Dyer

 English & Social Science Teacher

Sade Dyer is a passionate and highly skilled Ontario certified educator with 17 years’ experience teaching English, Social Science and Drama courses. Her teaching philosophy is foregrounded in equity and transformative pedagogy. She believes in intentionally cultivating classroom spaces where all learners thrive, not merely repeat information, but engage meaningfully and critically with content. She is always excited to meet new students each year to co-create a welcoming and inclusive space where their academic growth is supported.

Yaroslav Stroyan

 English & Business Teacher

Holding a master’s degree of Translation and Interpretation and passioned in helping students build linguistic confidence and fostering cross-cultural awareness, empowering them to thrive in our globalized world, Yaroslav has been teaching English in Canada, Hong Kong, China for over a decade.

Yaroslav believes that personalized support and encouragement are key of unlocking each student’s potential and fostering their love for English language and communication. His unique teaching inspires students to embrace English not only as a language, but also as a gateway to understanding and connecting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Maggie Dai

FH Online Administrator/Mathematics & Science Teacher

Graduated from the University of Waterloo with excellent academic standing, Maggie is experienced in teaching high school Math courses, including Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors and Mathematical Data Management. She joyfully teaches Math and always helps students achieve their goals.

Julia Zhu

IELTS & Mandarin Teacher

With a Master’s Degree in Education from University of Toronto and Bachelor Degree specialized in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Julia has been teaching Mandarin and IELTS courses for many years in Canada.
