While walking along the streets of Toronto, one would surely come across a majority of individuals belonging from different cultures of our world!
At FH International High School, we decided to take our students to a cultural exploration workshop by the ‘Mixed Company Theatre’ @ Toronto Public Library in Scarborough.
The workshop was conducted by the professional storyteller, Rubena Sinha, who led our students to learn more about the diversity of multiple cultures through storytelling. Our students were able to explore and learn more about how stories, poetry, and drama can take us on a journey to explore the different parts of the world as well as embrace the differences between us!
To end with, we believe that this event surely led our students to understand that the beauty of our world lies in the diversity of its people and that, it is time to stop discriminating against one another!
